It's been very gratifying to receive your notes of thanks for starting the Petition--thanks very much for your thanks! I appreciate how many people are now engaged and stepping up to research the issues, meet with others, and take action when called for. Yesterday, the number of names on the Petition surpassed 2300!
Since launching the petition a little more than two weeks ago, I've become exhausted from talking so much about beach bathrooms. My body is now telling me it's time to resume letting paint rather than words speak for me. Please know I'm not abandoning the protest or the Petition, but I am now asking my husband Roo to become its spokesperson and inviting you to share your good ideas with him, not me. I will joyfully return to my real job of letting Art use me to create transformation in the world.
I hope the images I'll continue to post here (along with words Roo may choose to write) will affect you in a positive way! I'm sharing today a portion of a richly layered oil painting I've been working on a few minutes each day since launching the Petition. It's called "Intuitive Emergence of a Greater Good." (Click the link to see the full image on my website.) I believe this mysterious painting may reveal Something More than all the many words I've been called upon to speak about this issue.
